Laura Kielo at Kellar's restaurant

Laura Kielo is a recent artist whose songs combine a modern, electronic pop sound with thought-provoking and insightful lyrics. The music is mixed with the eastern Finnish countryside with the cries of the lynx, the now so far away former hometown of St. Petersburg, the inconsolable teenage crush, spring depression, the ugliness and beauty of separation. Growing together, pain, lightness and orange sky. Laura has a master's degree in folk music and a folk song and pop jazz piano teacher. This, combined with electronic expression, creates unique Laura Kielo music.
