Restaurant space

The Kellari restaurant can accommodate approx. 50 people. It is suitable for e.g. organizing meetings, small public events or informal events. The space has an acoustic piano and the walls have changing art exhibitions. The restaurant is open mainly in the evening and there is always free access. Kulttuurihanat is responsible for private events and table reservations in the restaurant.

Catering

Culture cellar hall

The multipurpose hall downstairs has 220 customer seats, of which about 50 are standing seats. In the back of the hall, a 65-seat rising grandstand. The floor can be emptied of chairs and tables, and it can accommodate, for example, dancing. There are groups of sofas on the sides of the hall.

A fair-sized performance stage (depth 470 cm, width 840 cm).

In the hall grand piano (Steinway & Sons C-227),  video projector, basic sound equipment and lights. Behind the curtains on the stage, there is a wall with white canvas paint, onto which you can project images or videos. Behind the stage there is storage space and passageways to the stage. Dimmable lights in the hall. Backstage space separately, from which there is also direct access to the street.  Savonlinna Kulttuurikellari ry is responsible for renting the hall.

Accessibility

The Kulttuurikellari restaurant space is completely accessible and is located next to the main entrance. There is a toilet for disabled. The Kulttuurikellari is on two different floors, but the restaurant can be reached from the restaurant to the top floor of the hall with a platform elevator. However, there are several staircases and a rising grandstand in the space, so barrier-free access cannot be guaranteed everywhere. Savonlinna's Kulttuurikellari is a disability card destination. The assistant of the person presenting the A-marked card gets entry free of charge.
